Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The EFR located on the northern edge of the large positive polarity leader sunspot in region 0940 has slowly developed sunspot area and count. The background X-ray flux has slowly risen from the A3 level to its current A8.5 level. A C-class event is very possible.

The position of NOAA 0940 on January 29 at 14:30 UT: S06E40 (Solar X = -625", Solar Y = -026")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
