Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0940 has decayed losing some of its satellite sunspots. The large dark active region filament associated with 0940 has been somewhat active for the past several days. There is still a chance of a C-class event with only slight chance of an isolated M-class event.

The position of NOAA 0940 on February 03 at 17:00 UT: S04W29 (Solar X = 472", Solar Y = 024")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
