Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The rotation of NOAA 10953 around the east limb has led to an increase in the basal GOES X-ray flux. Although large and bright in EUV images, the magnetic configuration of this region is not yet clear. Some C-class events possible from this new region, with a small chance for a larger event over the next few days.

The position of NOAA 10953 on 26-Apr-2007 21:01 UT is:

S14E61, ( -811", -194" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
