Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 7 Jul 2007 06:54:15 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The current increase in solar activity, including a B1.2 flare, is due to the presence of an active region just beyond the east limb. However, for the remaining two days of the JOP 178 campaign we shall continue to observe NOAA 0961 until it exits the visible solar disc.

The position of NOAA 0961 on 7-Jul-2007 10:31 UT is:

S09W77, ( 909", -160" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
