Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Part of the recent increase in background flux may be due to an EFR on the central meridian just below the equator. However, the sigmoidal active region in the southeast quadrant remains the most stable feature on the solar disk. A chance for some A-level activity.

The approximate position of the active region on 24-Sep-2007 14:00 UT is:

S10E48, ( -705", -242" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
