Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is low today with little change expected. The brightest area on the disk at X-ray energies is located in the eastern hemisphere. The region is a small beta group and trails a significant equatorial coronal hole. Small-scale variability possible.

The approximate position of this region is:

S01E50, ( -750", -50" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
