Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 6 Dec 2007 10:03:31 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The new target region near the eastern limb has raised the background flux above A-level as it rotates onto the solar disk. At this time there appears to be some mixed polarity in the trailing sunspot. Continued A to B level emission expected with possibility for a C-class event.

The approximate position of the active region on 6-Dec-2007 14:30 UT is:

S08E70, ( -907", -137" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
