Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 7 Dec 2007 09:35:24 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The previous target region, NOAA 10977, was the source of a B1.4 flare near disk center at 04:41 UT. However, the current target region, NOAA 10978, has been classified as a beta region and remains the dominant region on the disk. Sustained A-level activity expected with a chance for some low to intermediate level events.

The position of NOAA 10978 on 7-Dec-2007 14:30 UT is:

S09E60, ( -834", -154" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
