Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0978 produced a C2.1 event at 12/18/13:20 UT and a C1.1 at 12/18/14:52 UT. Another isolated C-class event is possible before 0978 rotates completely over the SW limb.

Note: Mount Wilson Observatory observed a single negative polarity pore within the previously spotless Cycle 24 plage. The spot was located at N27.5 E02 at 12/17/15:30 UT.

The position of NOAA 0978 on December 18 at 14:30 UT: S09W87 (Solar X = -151", Solar Y = -151")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
