Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0978 produced another C-class event at 12/18/19:14 UT. 0978 has rotated beyond the SW limb. The new target will be the small currently spotless Cycle 24 plage (high latitude region with negative polarity flux leading in the northern hemisphere). This plage was the source of the C1.1 event at 12/18/14:52 UT (see http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/gev_20071218_1447.html) No noteworthy activity expected.

The position of the target region on December 19 at 14:00 UT: N27W13 (Solar X = 196", Solar Y = 466")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
