Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 21 Dec 2007 10:50:20 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at very low levels. The visible solar disk is spotless and nearly plageless. The target is a small high-latitude decaying plage. No significant activity expected. Note: The C1.1 event at 12/18/14:52 UT was incorrectly associated with the region located at N27. The source of the event was NOAA 0978 located on the SW limb (see http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/gev_20071218_1447.html).

The position of the target region on December 21 at 10:45 UT: N27W45 (Solar X = 616", Solar Y = 462")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
