Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0982 continues in decay phase. The region is now spotless. The chance of even minor flare activity from 0982 has decreased somewhat today. The southern branch of the large filament associated with old NOAA 0980 has completely disappeared - the southern portion of the northern branch has also disappeared with the northern portion appearing to be active.

The position of NOAA 0982 on February 06 at 12:15 UT: S10W48 (Solar X = 715", Solar Y = -087")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
