Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 25 Mar 2008 16:13:41 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The new region on the SE limb was the source of an M1.7 event at 03/25/18:56 UT. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. At this time, the target region will switch from NOAA 0988 to the new east limb region (now numbered NOAA 0989) All three regions on the visible solar disk today have the potential to produce a C-class event with a slight chance of another M-class event.

The position of NOAA 0989 on March 25 at 17:30 UT: S10E80 (Solar X = -934", Solar Y = -146")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
