Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sun, 4 May 2008 10:59:10 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at extremely low levels. A newly emerged flux region in the southeast quadrant marks the first Cycle 24 region to appear in the southern hemisphere. It is a compact bipolar region and shall be the new target for the next 24 hours. No significant activity expected at this time.

The approximate position of the target region on 4-May-2008 14:30 UT is:

S28E32, ( -447", -400" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
