MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased. There was one A- and two B-class events since the last report. The largest was a B3.5 event at 03/26/02:16 UT. The source was a new region located just beyond the NE limb. The target region developed two tiny spots and was the the source of the other B-class event (B1.8 at 03/26/01:43 UT). The NE limb region has the potential to produce additional B-class events.

The position of the new target on March 26 at 02:15 UT: N23E79 (Solar X = -870", Solar Y = 393")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
