Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at the background level. The compact region in the SE quadrant has decreased in brightness and shows no significant magnetic flux. The diffuse new cycle region in the northern hemisphere is the most likely to produce A-class events.

The approximate position of this region on 1-Apr-2009 at 12:00 UT is,

N25E06, ( -91", 503" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
