MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The visible solar disk is blank but there is an active new cycle region located just beyond the northeastern limb. The region was the source of a large CME and strong Type II radio burst yesterday. This new region is near the location of old NOAA 1015 which emerged near the NW limb last rotation. A- and B-class events probable with a slight chance of a C-class event as the region rotates onto the disk.

The approximate position of the target on May 06 at 04:30 UT:  N24E88 (Solar X = -868, Solar Y = 388)

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
