Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at very low levels despite the appearance of an old cycle region on the eastern limb. NOAA 1017 remains quiescent as it crosses the central meridian. Isolated A- and B-class events still possible from the target region.

The position of NOAA 1017 on 16-May-2009 12:00 UT is:

N18W01, ( 15", 333" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
