<p>Quiet Sun conditions prevail. The old cycle region close to disk
center continues to decay. A compact bipolar Cycle 24 region has
emerged in the southern hemisphere which may produce some low-level activity.
<p>The position of the new cycle region on 23-May-2009 12:30 UT is:
