Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 29 May 2009 09:42:58 -0400

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at very low levels. The low-latitude target region has almost completely decayed. The new target shall be the small Cycle 24 region which has appeared on the northeast limb. Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time but the possibility exists for some minor isolated events.

The position of the target region on 29-May-2009 13:00 UT is:

N26E86, ( -849", 416" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
