Date: Mon, 21 Sep 2009 10:30:27 -0400

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The large, new cycle active region which has been visible in STEREO Behind images for a number of days is now on the solar limb. It was the source of a B1.1 flare at 13:00 UT and is likely to produce more A- and B-class events with chance for an isolated C-class.

The approximate position of the target region on 21-Sep-2009 14:00 UT is:

S30E74, ( -797", -501" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
