Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Both active regions on the solar disk continue to produce A-level activity, with NOAA 1027 being the source of an A3.9 at 06:30 UT. The target region NOAA 1026 remains the larger of the two regions with a strong positive leader spot and trailing plage of both polarities. Further low-level activity expected with slight chance of an intermediate level event.

The position of NOAA 1026 on 24-Sep-2009 13:00 UT is:

S36E27, ( -352", -643" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
