Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Both active regions on the solar disk continue to produce A- and B-level activity with NOAA 1026 being the source of a C2.0 flare at 00:47 UT. The region has diminished in terms of sunspot area although it retains a significant level of magnetic flux in its plage regions. Further low-level activity expected with chance for another C-class event.
The position of NOAA 1026 on 25-Sep-2009 13:00 UT is:
S29E21, ( -301", -556" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
