MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is very low. The visible solar disk is spotless. The target is a decaying plage. The target region has an active dark filament located along its main magnetic inversion line. A minor A- or even a B-class event is possible today if the filament erupts.

The position of the target on October 15 at 12:30UT is: S27E33 (Solar X = -467", Solar Y = -509")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
