Solar activity remains low. The target region NOAA 1029 produced a C1.0 at 09:30 UT. There is still a chance of one or two more minor events before the region rotates behind the limb.

The position of NOAA 1029 on 31-Oct-2009 at 16:00UT is:

N17W90, ( 925", 282" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
