Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A new cycle region has emerged in the northern hemisphere close to the central meridian and has been designated NOAA 1030. It comprises a beta configuration with a small loop system. There is a chance of a slight increase in activity if the region continues to develop.

The position of NOAA 1030 on 6-Nov-2009 14:30 UT is:

N25W04, ( 61", 351" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
