MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A new strong EFR is located just north of NOAA 1034. The EFR is currently a beta magnetic classification. NOAA 1034 added a few sunspots since the last message. There is an active dark filament located between the EFR and 1034. If possible, the target position should be centered between the EFR and 1024 to include both regions and the filament within the FOV. B-class events likely with the chance of an isolated C-class event as well.

The position of the target on December 14 at 14:30UT is: N25E10 (Solar X = -154", Solar Y = 427")

NOAA 1034: N19E07 (Solar X = -112", Solar Y = 332") EFR: N30E12 (Solar X = -176", Solar Y = 502")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
