Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region NOAA 1039 was the source of two C-class flares since the last message. The region retains a beta configuration with some mixed polarity in the trailing portion where the flaring occurred. B-level activity expected with a chance for further C-class events.

The position of NOAA 1039 on 2-Jan-2010 16:00 UT is:

S27W44, ( 605", -408" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
