Date: Sun, 3 Jan 2010 10:27:43 -0500

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region NOAA 1039 was the source of two C-class and several B-class events over the past 24 hours. The region has decayed slightly but retains some mixed polarity flux in the trailing sunspot. Further B-level activity expected with chance of an isolated C-class.

The position of NOAA 1039 on 3-Jan-2010 15:00 UT is:

S28W55, ( 707", -429" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
