Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1039 continues to decay as it approaches the western limb. The region produced a C1.3 flare and several B-class events over the past 24 hours. Continued B-level activity expected until west limb passage with chance of an isolated C-class.

The position of NOAA 1039 on 4-Jan-2010 at 14:00 UT is:

S29W67, ( 787", -453" )
