Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1040 continues to increase in size and complexity as it approaches the central meridian. Activity remains at the B-level with a C1.0 flare occurring around 13:00 UT. There was also a B3.9 event near the north pole (N69W08) at 16:30 UT yesterday. Further B-level activity expected from the target region with chance of another isolated C-class if the region continues to develop.

The position of NOAA 1040 on 12-Jan-2010 at 14:30 UT is:

N29E02, ( -29", 537" )
