MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The active region just beyond the SE limb was the source of the first M-class event of Cycle 24 (M2.3 at 01/19/13:41 UT). The region also produced two C-class events. This region is the return of old NOAA 1039 or a new region near the location of 1039. C-class events expected and another M-class event is possible.

The position of the target on January 19 at 06:00UT is: S26E88 (Solar X = -876", Solar Y = -423")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
