MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A very strong EFR with a complex magnetic configuration is located within the leading polarity plage remnant of old NOAA 1040. The new region has a delta magnetic classification with the potential to produce M-class events. This EFR was the source of 3 C-class events today. The largest was a C4.0 at 02/06/07:04 UT. C-class events are certain with an M-class event possible today.

The position of the target on February 06 at 15:30UT is: N23E18 (Solar X = -278", Solar Y = 474")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
