MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1045 continues to add sunspot area and count and has increased its magnetic complexity by forming a second delta configuration within the trailing positive polarity flux giving the region a beta-gamma-double delta magnetic classfication (the original delta emerged within the negative polarity leader). 1045 has only produced a few B-class events and one C-class event since the M-6.4 event early today at 02:34 UT. 1045 is capable of producing M-class events with even the possibility of an isolated low-level X-class event.

The position of NOAA 1045 on February 07 at 16:30 UT is: N24E05 (Solar X = -077", Solar Y = 494")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
