MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1045 maintains its magnetic complexity (currently gamma-delta classification). The most complex portion of the sunspot group has shifted from the leading area to the intermediate portion. 1045 was the source of numerous C-class events and three M-class events since the last message. M-class events expected with a slight chance an isolated low-level X-class event.

The position of NOAA 1045 on February 08 at 14:00 UT is: N23W09 (Solar X = 140", Solar Y = 479")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
