MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is very low. The visible solar disk is currently spotless. We will continue to watch the large dark filament located in the northern polar crown zone. This filament has been relatively stable since the last message. It is possible that the filament may slowly disappear or suddenly erupt with an associated weak two-ribbon flare during its disk passage.

The position of the target on March 10 at 10:00 UT is: N37E05 (Solar X = -067", Solar Y = 676")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
