Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains very low with only B-class flares occurring in the past 24 hours. NOAA 11056 continues to decay as it approaches the west limb. The rotation of NOAA 11057 onto the solar disk may increase activity levels. This region of mixed polarity is currently classified with beta magnetic configuration. It contains two sunspots, both will well developed penumbrae and a coronal loop system. There is a chance of B and C class events in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11057 on 24-Mar-2010 at 14:30 UT is:

N16E64 ( -833", 312" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
