MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region produced a C1.6 event at 08/14/18:08 UT. NOAA 1099 increased its sunspot count and area since the last message. If possible, include both the plage and sunspots of NOAA 1093 and 1099 within your instruments F-O-V. If this is not possible, center on NOAA 1099. Another C-class event is possible within the next 24 hours. There remains a slight possibility of an isolated M-class event before west limb transit.

The position of NOAA 1093/1099 on August 15 at 09:15 UT is: N15W67 (Solar X = 844", Solar Y = 203") The position of NOAA 1099 on August 15 at 16:30 UT is: N18W68 (Solar X = 836", Solar Y = 251")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
