Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Quiet-Sun conditions continue. The active region on the eastern limb has now been designated NOAA 11101 and appears to comprise a strong leader spot with some trailing plage. The exact magnetic configuration is not known at this time but the region appears quiescent. Slight chance of an isolated low-level event.

The position of NOAA 11101 on 25-Aug-2010 at 13:30 UT is:

N12E71, ( -878", 158" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
