MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1108 remains a simple beta magnetic configuration. B-class activity expected with the chance of a C-class event within 24 hours. Former target, NOAA 1106, is now decaying but is still capable of B-class events with a slight chance of a C-class event. The main filament located along its magnetic inversion line is displaying some mass motion.

The position of NOAA 1108 on September 18 at 17:00 UT is: S28E49 (Solar X = -637", Solar Y = -514")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
