Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 15 Oct 2010 10:10:51 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at low levels. A newly numbered active region - NOAA 11114 has been emerging in the south west quadrant over the past two days. This new active region and NOAA 11113 have been producing some minor B class flares in the past 24 hours. NOAA 11114 may produce some more low level events. However, NOAA 11113 will continue to be todays target of choice. The region contains a large bipolar spot and a system of bright coronal loops. B and C class flares are possible.

The position of NOAA 11113 on 15-Oct-2010 at 16:00 UT is:

N17E54, ( -746", 225" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
