Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity remains low. NOAA region 11117 has changed to a beta magnetic classification and increased in area coverage with the emergence of several spots, which has produced several B-class events in the past 24 hours. A region of small-scale opposite flux mixing between the spots is bright in H-alpha and UV emission. B-class events are probable, with a small chance for a C-class event.

The position of NOAA 11117 on 24-Oct-2010 at 13:30 UT is:

N22E21, ( -317", 286" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
