Subject: MM#003 Major Flare Watch" -

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a medium level. NOAA region 11121 is still too close to the limb to properly ascertain its magnetic configuration, but there appears to be significant polarity mixing and a strong inversion line. This region has now produced 1 M-class, 4 C-class, and 11 B-class events yesterday and so far today. Continued B- and C-class activity is expected, with a chance for further M-class activity and the possibility of an isolated major flare.

The position of NOAA 11121 on 6-Nov-2010 at 15:30 UT is:

S18E50, ( -702", -339" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
