Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is now medium. Recently emerged NOAA 11123 continues to grow in both area and number of spots and maintains a beta magnetic configuration. This region is rich in C-class activity, having been the source of nine C-class events over yesterday and so far today. Further B- and C-class events are expected, with a chance for an M-class event if this region continues in growth phase or increases in magnetic complexity.
The position of NOAA 11123 on 12-Nov-2010 at 10:30 UT is:
S22W03, ( 42", -414" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
