Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar flare activity is extremely low. Quiet-sun conditions prevail on the solar disk with no spotted regions visible. The decaying plage that was NOAA 11135 supports a a minor filament and remains bright in EUV and X-ray emission. A-class activity is expected, with a chance of a minor event if the filament erupts.
The position of former NOAA 11135 on 22-Dec-2010 at 10:30 UT is:
N19W56, ( 764", 335" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
