Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar flare activity continues to be extremely low. NOAA region 11138 has grown in area and number of spots. This region has also increased in complexity through the introduction of polarity mixing, making it a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. Some B-class activity is possible, with a small chance of a minor event.

The position of NOAA 11138 on 29-Dec-2010 at 14:30 UT is:

N13W34, ( 533", 257" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
