Forecast: Auroral activity will be active. Weather permitting, active auroral displays will be visible overhead from Barrow to Anchorage and Juneau, and visible low on the horizon from King Salmon, Prince Rupert, Bismark and Montreal.
Additional Forecaster comments: Several Solar events have occurred and the disturbances should reach Earth sometime on the 17th or 18th of Feb. Watch the short term auroral forecast for a 1 hour warning. We would expect auroral index 4 or more.
