Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2011 14:17:56 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a very low level. With NOAA region 11169 rotating over the NW limb, NOAA 11173 becomes the target of choice. This region has a beta magnetic configuration and has shown minor growth in area and number of spots in the past 24 hours. B-class activity is expected.

The position of NOAA 11173 on 18-Mar-2011 at 14:30 UT is:

S29E18, ( -266", -366" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
