Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is returning to low levels with NOAA 11296 and 11295 now in decay. NOAA 11290 was the source of a C9.3 flare at 11:30 UT on 16-Sep-2011 and shall be the target region for the next 24 hours. Slight chance of an isolated intermediate level flare before the region rotates over the southwest limb. If possible also include NOAA 11297 in your field of view.

The position of NOAA 11290 on 17-Sep-2011 at 08:00 UT is:

S13W74, ( 894", -246" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
