Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Wed, 5 Oct 2011 10:11:35 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity continues at low levels. NOAA 11302, now on the western limb, was the source of a single C2.3 flare at 00:11 UT today. NOAA 11305 has also remained quiescent. There is a new region encroaching onto the southeast limb, which has been the source of two low C-class events, and shall be the new target region. Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time but it has the potential to produce further C-level activity as it rotates onto the visible hemisphere.

The approximate position of the target regionĀ on 5-Oct-2011 at 09:30 UT is:

S14E87, ( -929", -236" )
